An Angel Is ...
Guardian Angel Prayer  ~ ~

Angel of God, my guardian dear,

to whom God's love entrusts me here,

ever this day be at my side

to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.


In Catholicism guardian angels are believed to be intelligent spiritual creatures assigned to care for and protect every person on earth. Each person has a guardian angel throughout life. These angels are to assist the person in attaining his eternal salvation. They can act as emissaries between the person and God.


May you always have an Angel by your side,
Watching out for you in all the things you do;
Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days,
Finding ways for your wishes and dreams to come true;
Giving you hope that is as certain as the sun,
Giving you the strength of serenity as your guide,
